Amusement parks are generally perceived as day-use sites, but this approach is changing. The operators of these destinations dedicated to thrills and fun are now looking to considerably extend the length of their visitors’ stays. Park extensions, new attractions, expanding the hotel portfolio and developing the MICE offer are all ways in which amusement parks are transforming themselves into destinations in their own right.
