Accor has announced the upcoming repositioning of ibis London Earls Court Hotel as a co-branded Mercure and ibis property, following a multi-million pound refurbishment.

The co-located dual branded property will be known as Mercure and ibis London Earls Court Hotel and will feature 226 ibis rooms and 282 Mercure rooms, merging two of Accor’s iconic brands into one popular destination in West London.

The property’s reposition will be completed in phases, with a soft launch to begin at the end of the month which will include 226 ibis entry level rooms and 144 Mercure rooms, a new restaurant named Barnaby’s, as well as a well-appointed meeting space by Mercure.

Additional rooms under the Mercure brand will be added by the end of the year, while the project is expected to be completed in early 2025.

The renovated hotel will offer versatile meeting spaces capable of accommodating up to 1,200 guests as well as a Grand Ballroom, with a capacity for up to 800 guests. The property will also offer five smaller rooms suitable for business meetings with capacity for up to 50 guests each.

Regarding the F&B offer, Barnaby’s, the on-site restaurant and bar, has been designed in collaboration with Paris Society. The menu will feature a variety of great classics of British cuisine as well as more exotic dishes.

We are incredibly excited to welcome visitors to experience our property and to enjoy a home away from home. The multi-million-pound redevelopment underlines our commitment to providing exceptional experiences for all of our guests. We are delighted to offer an affordable yet comfortable hotel to those visiting London who can benefit from our excellent location, close proximity to some of the city’s most popular attractions and outstanding transport links.
