Ennismore is set to open its first Hyde property in London at the beginning of September 2024, marking the debut of the brand in the UK market.
Hyde London City Hotel will open its doors in next September within the historic 15 Old Bailey building – a Grade II listed landmark which dates back to 1874. A renovation project that costed £34.3 millions and started in 2022.
The seven-storey hotel will offer 111 guest rooms featuring botanical references, all-day Turkish restaurant Leydi, and subterranean cocktail bar Black Lacquer “dedicated to a love of music that harks back to Hyde’s origins on the LA club scene”. Interiors are described as “bohemian chic”.
Regarding the F&B offer, Leydi will offer a menu of meze and Turkish plates served family-style, while Black Lacquer will serve Tokyo-inspired small plates amid daily-changing soundtracks.
The brand originated as an LA nightclub in 2005, and currently counts four hotels in Hollywood Beach, Midtown Miami, Ibiza and Dubai, with properties also planned for Bodrum and Perth.
