B&B Hotels continues to expand its presence in Germany with the opening of a new hotel at Offenburg Central Station. This modern building stands out for its innovative architecture, incorporating 185 solar panels on three sides of the façade for the first time in a hotel.

The five-storey hotel offers a total of 93 rooms, including 36 family rooms as well as Comfort and Premium options. Guests will also be able to take advantage of a car park equipped with electric charging points for vehicles, and an organic breakfast, reinforcing the establishment’s commitment to a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly offering.

With this opening, B&B Hotels not only strengthens its presence in a key region but also takes a significant step towards more sustainable and innovative hotel practices.

‘After the recent openings in Albstadt and Rastatt, we are delighted with the opening of this hotel in Offenburg. This new establishment is a crucial step in our growth strategy, both nationally and internationally. Offenburg is a strategic location in Baden-Württemberg, one of the most dynamic and innovative regions in Germany and Europe.

The installation of photovoltaic panels on the façade is a first for our chain. This technology could enable the hotel to run on 100% solar power during the day, illustrating our commitment to a sustainable future for tourism and the local economy. We’re not just investing in a building, but in a more environmentally friendly future. – Tobias Gollnest, Chief Development Officer Central & Northern Europe at B&B Hotels Germany GmbH
