November 3-7: A Month Started with the EquipHotel Trade Show
The EquipHotel 2024 trade show attracted 95,000 professionals from the CHRD sector (Cafés, Hotels, Restaurants, and Discotheques), strengthening its position as a leader in the industry. It gathered 1,200 exhibitors across four thematic halls: Foodservice, Design, Wellness, and Tech & Services. Among the visitors, 15% were international, further solidifying the trade show’s global reputation as a reference in hospitality, providing an ideal setting for exchanges and innovations in the sector. The last edition of this event was held in 2022, during the same period (November 6-10).
Between November 3-7, 2024, the EquipHotel trade show had a particularly favorable impact on hotel performance in Paris.
- The occupancy rate of hotels in the Paris Rive Gauche area reached 81.0%, a 6.9-point increase compared to 2023 and a 6.7-point increase compared to 2022.
- This influx was accompanied by a significant rise in average room price, which reached €200.5 (up 10.7% from 2023 and 12.8% from 2022).
- This led to a substantial increase in RevPAR, which rose by 21.1% from 2023 and 23.0% from 2022, reaching €162.3. Hotel performance, boosted by EquipHotel and other major events, was significantly higher than in 2022 for the same period.
November 8-11: A Weekend Focused on Made in France
The 12th edition of the Made in France Show (MIF Expo) gathered over 1,000 exhibitors representing various sectors such as tourism, health, and gastronomy. Tens of thousands of visitors were expected, with a significant share being international attendees, further enhancing the global appeal of the event.
