Notably, 78.5% of visitors were international, highlighting the global appeal of this event, with France ranking among the most represented countries.
SIAL Paris also played a crucial role in food diplomacy, attracting over 200 countries and 110 official delegations. Both French and international political figures emphasized the importance of this event for the development of agri-food sectors and its influence on global food challenges.

- The average occupancy rate reached 78.2%, marking a notable increase of 20.1 points compared to 2022. This significant improvement in occupancy reflects the heightened appeal of the event, likely supported by the complete return of international visitors and an overall increase in attendance.
- The average room price (€176.4 excluding VAT) also recorded an exceptional increase of 204% compared to the previous edition.
- RevPAR, a key performance indicator, soared by 308.8% to reach €137.9 excluding VAT.
Compared to the 2022 edition, these figures indicate a vigorous recovery and strong revitalization of the hotel market during SIAL 2024, positioning this event as a major growth lever for the hotel industry in the region.
Comparison with 2023
Compared to 2023, a year without the exhibition, the occupancy rate increased by 11.7 points in 2024, reflecting the positive impact of SIAL on hotel demand. The average price saw an impressive increase of 181.2%, and RevPAR increased by 230.7% compared to 2023.
